This work was not created for this module, but shows some of the images of Shimmerleaf I’ve created over the past few years, and is an important part of the wider development the project has seen outside of this module.
The previous incarnation of settlements – from this I went for something less high-fantasy and magical feeling to something more grounded. I tried to enforce the idea that although Shimmerleaf is magical, it’s not the sort of magic that has the same visual language as other worlds – its subtle and understated.
